Check for damaged or missing parts

Before each use, check if any part of the tool is damaged or missing, check carefully

that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Do not use if defective.

Assembly & use

For Pulling: (Figs A & C)

•  AttachtheJoistGripper(1)andCam(2)totheHandle(3)usingtheClevisPins(5)and

‘R’Clips(4)asshowninFigA

•  PlacetheJoistGripper(1)overthejoist,studorrafteradistanceawayfromthe

decking or ﬂoor board

•  MovehandleasshowninFigC,lightlyholdingjoistgripperuntilitbites

•  Whenhandleisnearlyperpendiculartothedeckingboardthedeckingtoolwillhold

itself in place

•  Ifhandleisperpendiculartotheboardbutthegapisnotclosed,repeatstepsagain

with the joist gripper closer to the board

•  Ifthegapisclosedbutthehandlewillnotmovefarenoughtoholditselfinplace,

repeat the action with the joist gripper further from the board

For Pushing: (Fig’s B & D)

•  AttachtheJoistGripper(1)andCam(2)totheHandle(3)usingtheClevisPins(5)and

‘R’Clips(4)asshowninFigB

•  PlacetheJoistGripper(1)overthejoist,studorrafteradistanceawayfromthe

decking or ﬂoor board

•  MovehandleasshowninFigD,lightlyholdingjoistgripperuntilitbites

•  Whenhandleisnearlyperpendiculartothedeckingboardthedeckingtoolwillhold

itself in place

Vériﬁez si des pièces sont endommagées ou manquantes

Avantchaqueutilisation,vériezquetouteslespiècesdecetoutilsontenbonétatet

qu’il n’en manque aucune. Vériﬁez également minutieusement l’outil pour déterminer

s’il fonctionne correctement et s’il remplit sa fonction initiale. Ne l’utilisez pas s’il est

défectueux.

• Fixezlamâchoiredeprisedesolive(1)etlacame(2)àlapoignée(3)àl’aidedes

axesd’articulation(5)etdesgoupillesfendues(4),commeindiquédanslaFigureA.

• Placezlamâchoiredeprisedesolive(1)par-dessuslasolive,legoujonoulechevron

en la tenant un peu éloignée de la planche de plancher ou de plancher de terrasse.

• DéplacezlapoignéecommeindiquédanslaFigureC,entenantlégèrementla

mâchoiredeprisedesolivejusqu’àcequ’elleaccroche.

• Lorsquelapoignéeestpresqueperpendiculaireàlaplanchedeplancher,l’outil

d’installation de plancher restera tout seul en place.

• Silapoignéeestperpendiculaireàlaplanchemaisl’espacen’estpasrefermé,

répétezànouveaulesétapesindiquéesci-dessusenayantlamâchoiredeprisede

soliveplusprèsdelaplanche.

• Sil’espaceestrefermémaislapoignéenepeutpasêtresufsammentdéplacéepour

restertouteseuleenplace,répétezlesétapesci-dessusenayantlamâchoirede

prise de solive plus éloignée de la planche.
